Making a Slideshow with Asynchronous Background Music

Oftentimes when one plays a slideshow with music backgound inside, he/she finds the audio backgound will stop when the show is paused. In this lesson we'd like to show you how to make a slideshow with asynchronous music backgound. The goal is to let the music backgound play when the show is being paused.

Here is the result:

Software:Flash Demo Builder
Time:Less than 10 minutes

Steps:

1.Run Flash Demo Builder.

2. From Startup menu, choose "Blank Project" & click on "OK" button



Flash Demo Builder will show a window to choose the dimension of the project. Use dimension of 640x480.

3. By default there has been one empty slide opened. Add 4 slides more by clicking "Add a new scene button"

4. For this leeson you can give any backgound to each slide. We use Stylish backgound from the program's library

5. Click Insert menu bar and choose "Backgound Music and Audio".
Under "Insert Audio and Music" window choose the first option "Backgound music or sound without synchronization"



Under "Backgound Music Playback Management" window choose "Start of presentation"

6. Under Control property window, make sure to have "Have control" checked

Congratulation! you now have a slideshow with asnchronous backgound music. You can test this by playing the slide show. When the slideshow is paused you will notice the backgound music will keep playing.
